We all know how important our physical health is, but I don't think we all realise just how important it is to feel and give love.
Love is an emotion that is seen in nature, in the leaves on the trees, the sun in the sky, the herbs in the garden and the dog playing in the waves at the beach! It is a really powerful and pure emotion representing human kindess, compassion and a deep affection for each other and more importantly for one's self. Love is vital for balance of body, mind and soul.
Love for self improves self esteem and improved self esteem leads to better self care. Self-love is kinder, it's more understand and has boundaries. Self love is being able to love yourself regardless of one's perceived faults. Self-love is empowering and really quite freeing.
Love is a great antidote to stress and being stressed is such a dangerous state of mind be in. Long term stress results in poor health assocatied to high blood pressure, diabetes, depression and heart desease. A stress free body has a stronger immune system that is not constantly under attack from inflammation in the body.
How to bring more love into your life:
Take better care of you: Love yourself and be kind to yourself. Allow yourelf 'me' time.
